2. Recording Audition (Preliminary Round) Repertoire should be recorded in the listed order with track numbers on CD-R.

(1) Flute Mozart: Flute Concerto No. 2 in D major K.314, 1st movement (without cadenza)
* with piano accompaniment (6 bars before the start of solo)
(2) Piccolo Mozart: Flute Concerto No. 2 in D major K. 314, 2nd movement (without cadenza)
* with piano accompaniment (4 bars before the start of solo)


Piano accompaniment is essential.
Applicant can select any edition/publisher.
The recording must be made within 6 months before the date of application.
Place a track number at start of each work.
The recording device must be CD-R (music recording).
Confirm the recording content before submitting. Avoid low volume or any echoas this may affect the judgement.


Send the following documents together with your recording to the address noted in 6 by post.
Mark your name on your CD-R.
The documents and recording are not returnable.

Result will be sent by post no later than Monday, January 20, 2020.
For those who passed the preliminary audition, the result may be informed via telephone.
3. Live Audition (Secondary and Final rounds)
Secondary round (Audition by section members)
Wednesday, February 12, 2020 in the afternoon (planned) at Sapporo Art Park Arena (2-chome, Geijutsunomori, Minami-ku, Sapporo)

Final round (Audition by all the orchestra members)
Thursday, February 13, 2020 in the afternoon (planned) at Sapporo Art Park Arena (2-chome, Geijutsunomori, Minami-ku, Sapporo)


(1) Flute Mozart: Flute Concerto No.1 in G major K.313, 1st movement (with cadenza)
* with piano accompaniment (4bars before the start of solo)
(2) Piccolo Mozart: Flute Concerto No. 2 in D major K. 314, 2nd movement (without cadenza)
* with piano accompaniment (4 bars before the start of solo)
(3) Orchestral Study (including piccolo) - details will be informed to those who passed the preliminary audition

The orchestra will arrange a piano accompanist but the applicant can also attend the audition with his/her accompanist. Any expense incurred in this case must be burnt by the applicant. Further details on this will be given to the successful applicant.
There will be an interview for those who attend the final auditions, on the same day.
4. Salary and Benefits Salary 191,900 JPY (age 22) to 247,600 JPY (age 35)
Additional bonus twice a year
Other benefits: housing, family, cold-area, commuting and instrument.
Social welfare, unemployment insurance and retirement allowance are also available.
5. Employment starting date As soon as possible but negotiable
There will be 6-month probation before official employment.
