③ Haydn: Die Schopfung (The Creation) No. 26 beginning of choral till 37th bar
④ Beethoven: Symphony No. 9 4th movement 1 beat before 595th bar till 602nd bar
⑤ Rossini: La gazza ladra Overture 115th bar to 139th bar 1 beat
⑥ Wagner: Die Walküre 58th bar to 77th bar ※Schott edition


The recording must be made within 6 months before the date of application.
 Solo works (1) must have a piano accompaniment and prelude can be omitted.
Place a tracking number at the beginning of each work.
Recording device must be CD-R, audio recording only.
Carry out the recording in a large room and place your microphone 2 meters or more away from the bell.
Do not edit your recording, such as placing echo or other effects.
Confirm the content before submitting. Avoid low volume or any echo in the recording as this may affect the judgement.
How to apply and Deadline of application Send the following documents together with your recording to the address noted in 6 by post.
Mark your name on your CD-R.
The documents and recording are not returnable.

1. Resume (if you are Japanese, use a standard resume form.) Please write in your music experience and maker of your instrument.
2. Recording information (note the date and place of recording in A4 format)

Result announcement for the recording audition
Result will be sent by post no later than Friday, July 5, 2019.

Live audition repertoire

(Details will be announced to those who passed the recording audition.)

The orchestra will arrange a piano accompanist, but the applicant can also attend the audition with his/her accompanist. In this case, any fee incurred will be burnt by the applicant. More details will be informed on a later date.
There will be an interview for those who attend the final auditions, on the same day.
4. Salary and benefits Salary 191,600 JPY (age 22) to 247,400JPY (age 35)
Additional bonus twice a year
Other benefits: housing, family, cold-area, commuting and instrument.
Social welfare, unemployment insurance and retirement allowance are also available.
5. Employment starting date Preferably January 2020 but negotiable
There will be 6-month probation before official employment.
