Audition for Clarinet
1. Vacancy 1 clarinet (also requested to play bass clarinet)
2. Venue Sapporo Art Park Arena (2-chome, Geijutsunomori, Minami-ku, Sapporo)
3. Preliminary round (Audition by section members)
Date & Time: From 10 am on Tuesday, June 9 and Wednesday, June 10, 2020
Repertoire:
(1) Mozart Clarinet Concerto in A major K.622 - All movements with piano accompaniment
(2) Orchestral study including bass clarinet

Precautions
- Repertoire (1) needs to have a piano accompaniment. Please arrange and have your pianist with you during the audition. Any expense incurred must be burnt by the applicant. Sapporo Symphony Orchestra will not recommend or arrange the pianist.
- Scores for the orchestra study will be sent to the applicant after the application is closed.
- Time to warm up with an accompanist is available before the audition.

For those who passed and being requested to attend the secondary round, the result may be informed via telephone.

- Sapporo Symphony Orchestra will arrange a piano accompanist but the applicant can also attend the audition with his/her accompanist. Any expense incurred in this case must be burnt by the applicant. There will be a time to work together with the accompanist during the morning of the audition day. Details will be informed on a later date.
- There will be an interview for those who attend the final round, on the same day.


Result will be sent by post no later than Friday, January 22, 2021.
5. Salary and Benefits (as of current salary sheet; salary consists of age and ability factors) Salary 191,900 JPY (age 22) to 247,600 JPY (age 35)
Additional bonus twice a year
Other benefits: housing, family, cold-area, commuting and instrument.
Social welfare, unemployment insurance and retirement allowance are also available.
6. Employment starting date As soon as possible but negotiable
There will be 6-month probation before official employment.

The recording must be made within 6 months before the date of application.
Place track numbers at start of each piece, 1 to 5.
Piano accompaniment is essential for concerti. No restriction on publisher, or edition..

The recording device must be CD-R (music recording only)
Confirm the content before submitting. Avoid low volume or any echo in the recording as this may affect the judgement.

Needs piano accompaniment, and introduction can be deleted.
