< Prayer ~ Singing to the heavens, the heartbeat of the earth>
The theme of this program is "Prayer." Composed by the request of the Maritime Self-Defense Force Sasebo Music Corps, "Gururiyoza" is inspired by music that has been sung by Nagasaki's hidden Christians and has survived to this day. "Deux Prières pour Orchestre (Two Prayers for Orchestra)" is a work that shows the belief of the composer that "modern music can be easily understood if it is the really good music," which he learned from Milhaud and Messiaen in Paris. The Rite of Spring by our energetic Kawase baton will remind you of the ballet stage.
【Lobby Concert】
